IGTM IN NORWAY!
Hey Everyone! We're proud to let you know that Indie Game: The Movie is an official selection of the Bergen International Film Festival! Our film is playing on Oct 18th, 21st & 23rd. It's a really good chacne to see IGTM on the big screen. But even if you've seen IGTM, if you are in the area, definitely go check out this festival. It has an amazing line up. So many good films to choose from.
Check out the screening info here.
IGTM IS HEADING TO ICELAND!

Hey Iceland! We're coming to the Reykjavik International Film Festival! Not only is IGTM screening, but Lisanne & James will be there too. We'll be doing Q&A's post screening, plus we'll be on a few panels (one about digital distribution and another about video games) PLUS we'll be doing a Master Class/Extended Talk about the overall production of the film. If you happen to be in Iceland, we'd love to see you there!
The Economist Talks to IGTM
Some Digital Distribution Talk: Recently, we chatted with Glenn Fleishman from The Economist about the production and distribution of the film. It resulted in a fantastic discussion and a really nice article, which you can read here, if you'd like.
We've been doing some relatively new and unique things with IGTM (from a film-world perspective) and we're a big believer in sharing what we've learned and are still learning. We do plan to do some more in depth Post- Mortem posts and presentations in the future. If you're interested in that type of stuff, check out The Economist article and keep on watching this space. Also, if you have any specific production/distribution questions that'd you'd like answers to, let us know in the comments. We'll try to address them in the future (though do keep in mind, some things we can't share or aren't perhaps in a position to share just yet. But we'll do our best.)
RealScreen's Top 15 Emerging Doc Directors!
Whoa. This is a pretty amazing honour. Today we were named as one of the fifteen top emerging directors that RealScreen and a panel of (very!) esteemed judges feel 'represent the future of feature-length non-fiction'. There are some brillant names on the list we are aboslutely honoured to be included among them.
Here's some lovely things said by Hussain Currimbhoy of Sheffield Doc/Fest...
“Lisanne and James immediately sucked me into a world I knew nothing about with brilliant editing and an excellent eye for cinematography and pacing that outdoes far more seasoned filmmakers. They then took me on a rollercoaster ride I was not at all expecting, and I loved every minute of it. In a world where control over your content is fractious, these filmmakers did it on their own terms using all modern tools at their disposal to make the film a reality.”
