IGTM now in 20 languages!
This is kind of unbelieveable, IGTM is now available in 20 (subtitled) languages. (Arabic, Traditional Chinese, Czech, Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Portugese, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian)
All made possible by IGTM fans around the world. It's pretty amazing. We're pretty blown away by it and insanely grateful to the people putting in the type of time, effort and passion it takes to do a translation (it's A LOT more work than you might think)
The latest languages added to the mix are...
Greek
Japanese
Polish
Ukranian
Currently the new translations are only available through www.indiegamethemovie.com. But we should have them incorporated into the next Steam update as well.
Like the other translations, these two were done by super generous volunteers who put in a lot of hours and work into translating the film. Who are these amazing people you might ask?
Greek Translation was done by Marios Karagiannis of Karios Games
Japanese Translation was done by Haraguchi Sungo
Polish Translation was provided by Marcin Seredynski & @Vigrid
Ukranian Translation was the work of the team at PlayUA
Bonus version: There is an well done Audio overdubbed Ukranian version of the film also available from www.IndieGameTheMovie.com as well. This fantastic work was done by the team at Ellipsis Studio (Три крапки).
Note: Given that these translations are done by normal, enthustiastic peoples (i.e. not translation or subtitle professionals), there may be a blip or two in the translation, but overall, they should provide a great avenue to share the film to people who otherwise wouldn't be able to enjoy it.
THANK YOU AGAIN to all the people who have helped with the transaltions and have helped share IGTM to people all over the globe! Thank you so much!
-James & Lisanne
Note: Polish is only available in an SRT file. Full stream/download available soon.

Yes! Thank you for adding Polish subtitles
Awesome! Will these be added to the Special Edition blu ray when it's released?
Also, anyone up for Korean?
We should have a lot of those languages included in the SE bluray. But, sadly not all of them (technical limitation). I think it'll be around 6-7 languages.
And I *think* there is a Korean version in the works. We'll see if it comes together soon :)
Thanks for asking,
James
By the way, there's STILL some errors in the french subtitles, at least in the steam release, in my knowledge.
I already proposed to correct those simple yet inconvenient mistakes and bugs 3 months ago, and I never seen any answer from you.
So I'm sure you're a lot busy, but I already shared this movie with a lot of friends, showing them and watching it 9 times like that in two weeks ! And I didn't even got bored after the ninth time!
But now I would love to buy an educational license to show it to my game design school classmates, but I must say that some errors left in the captions are quite annoying. Any chance to quick-fix it in the near future?
