J + L in Announcements, Events, Indie Game the Movie, Screenings

Hi There,

With the film in full swing, we have some great events popping up all over the globe.  When we first began this project we always had dreams of this film being used to bring people together in the form of meetups, get-togethers, and more traditional theatrical screenings.   As much as this film can be viewed on a laptop or television - there is something a little more special when watching the film with a group.  And even moreso when that group is full of like-minded people who love games and making stuff just like you.

Over the last couple of weeks, a bunch of IGTM screenings took place from Quebec City to Taiwain to Tel Aviv to Brisbane.  It's pretty amazing to think about.  We asked the organizers to snap a few pics if they could, so here's a taste of what's been going on!

Huge thanks to IGDA Share, NZGDA, GameISMiniMega and IGDA Brisbane for making these events happen!

ALSO:  NEW LANGUAGES AVAILABLE!

Just added and available at http://buy.indiegamethemovie.com/ are German, Turkish and Thai Subtitles.  These languages will also be added to the Steam version of the film in the next update...which should be happening very soon.

Very special thanks to Phunthipa Bovornkiratikajorn, Jate Wittayabundit and Sirisak Luengsaksri for their wonderful work on the Thai Translation.  Eren Eraldemir for translating into Turkish.  And also, another big thank you to Christopher Kurtz for his work on the German translation.  All of this was done through these good people volunteering their time and efforts.  Without them, IGTM would not have the good fortune of being shared in those languages.
